It's no secret to you all that Smitty and I (and Jordy to a lesser degree) are Led Zeppelin fans. I am also a fan of Robert Plant's solo work - although I confess I am not familiar enough with the length and breadth of it.
It's an interesting coincidence that this article came out today, as I had been watching O Brother, Where Art Thou for awhile on Sunday, and reminded myself how much I love Krauss' voice (she was the lead vocal on 'Down to the River to Pray' and 'I'll Fly Away,' two bluegrass staples).
And now you're telling me that the vocalist from the greatest hard-rock band of all time is teaming up with one of the most talented names in bluegrass to do an album produced by a legend? Bring it on, sez I!

This chair is high sez I.
:-P
So forgive me for going totally off-topic here, but I've just been catching up with a bunch of your shows after a long break, and have a few comments.
Pike - I've Seen It All is one of my fave songs ever (Dancer in the Dark is one of my fave movies), and is surely an inspired collaboration! Oh - and I think Ghost Story is about Sting's relationship with his father. Also a great song.
Mark - If Jordy hasn't had a chance to play my special version of Toxic for you yet, beat him over the head until he does. Also, I'm touched and flattered re: Def Leppard. I was sitting in my chair at work waiting with bated breath, and I actually pumped my fists in the air with glee when you mentioned the band. Of course, I would've picked Are You Excitable for you, but that's me. Heh. Oh. And that song by Anthony Stewart Head SUCKS! Really.
Jordy -- I loved your take on covers (with the sampling). Awesome music!
In general, you guys are terrible to listen to here at work because I'm always laughing out loud as I listen, or wishing I could sing along to the great music. You rock!!!

Thanks, V. I'm glad you liked Def Leppard. Now that you mention it, "Excitable" probably would have been a better choice.. Ahh well.
And, Anthony Steward Head isn't that bad! Come on! I quite like his CD. *sheesh!* There's no accounting for taste.
